Schaeffler: Building the capabilities to deploy humanoid robotics at scale

AEON Training Policy Schaeffler Humanoid Gym
At its Humanoid Gym in Erlangen, Germany, Schaeffler is working with Hexagon Robotics to prepare AEON for real manufacturing operations. Using representative production scenarios, Schaeffler teams train and validate new capabilities before they reach the factory floor, while building the hands-on experience to integrate humanoid robotics into their operations.

“Here, we learn how to integrate AEON into our production environment and, as AEON is a multipurpose platform, expand its breadth of use cases, while our teams build the hands-on experience needed to work confidently alongside this technology. In parallel, Hexagon Robotics gains direct feedback from experts of our manufacturing operations. This allows both the robot and our organisation to be deployment-ready.

As a multipurpose platform, every new capability AEON masters expands the range of applications it can support. The goal goes beyond individual deployments: to create a repeatable model for training, validating and deploying humanoids across robots, workflows and manufacturing sites.

“Every capability AEON masters in the Gym is one step closer to deployment in production.”
